Welcome to the 8th ICNM World Congress
Dear friends,
On behalf of the ICNM World Congress executive organizing committee, it is my great honor and privilege to invite you to attend the 8th ICNM.
Pursue innovative ideas, engage with new colleagues, re-connect with friends, be challenged by different perspectives, delve into new directions, tools and training—ICNM World Conference is an amazing opportunity for all of us.
This 8th edition is organized with the precious support and close collaboration of the 185 most prestigious traditional, complementary & integrative medicine organizations worldwide.
Today, the congress has an unrivaled reputation as the best global platform for professionals, experts, institutions and partners for the quality of its educational content and research addressing important topics to meet the growing demand.
The theme of the 8th Congress: “Restoring Health Naturally – with a focus on immunity, inflammation & mental health”.
In conjunction with the scientific committee and the executive board, we are working together to present an exceptional program in line with our commitment to innovation, expertise and excellence. Therefore, the program will reflect the progress we have made over the last 50 years, while at the same time focusing on current and emerging topics. There is a strong emphasis on practical, clinical messages that you can use in your daily practice.
We hope that ICNM will ensure there is something of relevance for everyone. Over the course of the congress, advanced academic sessions and workshops will be included along keynotes & lectures presented by prominent professors from research centers and universities.
Our goal is to provide an environment where you are able to learn new ways to enhance your practice and apply that knowledge immediately.
We look forward to having you with us for an unforgettable event.
Sincerely,

History
Traditional medicine has been part of every country for centuries. Many of the principles and philosophies originated in Europe in the 16th and 17th century. The original practitioners – prior to 1900s – from around the world, were trained by European doctors using hydrotherapy, herbal medicine and other traditional forms of healing. Currently, European countries consider their practice as a system of healthcare that has evolved by incorporating the traditional medicine of each country with the complementary and integrative medicine principles, theories, modalities and traditions that have been codified in North America.

- Treat The Whole Person (tolletotum)
- Doctor as Teacher (docere)
- Disease Prevention and Health Promotion
Theories

- Vital Force (vis vitalis) / Theory of vitality
